Hi has anyone had a problem with the 207 CC roof, a while ago I had the roof down, but when I tried to put it back up the boot opened and the roof came up 1/2 way, the hydraulic pump was working but would not go any further. Uneven tick over on start up for 10/15 seconds hot or cold. Peugeot 206 - ALL MODELS. Issue - Startup error, battery drained. Cause - Battery connector (s) incorrectly installed. Repair - Make sure that the battery terminals are properly installed and properly installed. Peugeot 206 - ALL MODELS. Issue - Control airbag light illuminates constantly or occasionally. He was told that there was a reset button just inside the passenger locking mecanism where the roof locks into the windscreen. He got a pen jiggled it about and that was it problem solved. The garage told him that there is sometimes a blip with the computer controlling it and tells the the wrong info ie the roof is shut when in fact it is open. Peugeot 207CC roof fault. N. Neil Bush. posted. 9 years ago. When activating the 'roof down' switch, our 207CC winds the windows down, half opens the boot lid, then, with a 'bong', stops and displays 'Faulty roof mechanism'. It's probably optimistic of me to ask, but is there anything I can try DIY-wise before I take it to the Peugeot dealer? TIA. vAgxJnL.
